FAQ Please use this page to help you with any questions you may have, however if you feel you still have questions do not hesitate to get in touch.
Would you work in a venue you haven't yet worked in?
Absolutely. Photographing a new venue is always exciting and gives me the opportunity to approach your wedding day with fresh eyes and creativity. I take time to explore the location, understand the lighting, and find the best backdrops and moments throughout the day.
Whether your venue is a countryside manor, city venue, barn wedding, or intimate outdoor space, I adapt my approach to capture your day naturally and beautifully.
We’re awkward in front of the camera — can you help?
Absolutely! Honestly, most of my couples say this before their wedding day, so you’re definitely not alone.
My approach is very relaxed and natural — I won’t leave you wondering what to do with your hands or force you into stiff, awkward poses. Instead, I’ll gently guide you with prompts, movement and little moments that help you feel comfortable and connected.
The best photos usually happen when you’re simply being yourselves, having a laugh together and enjoying the moment. My job is to create a calm, easy-going atmosphere so your photos feel natural, genuine and completely you.
And don’t worry — within a few minutes, most couples tell me they actually end up enjoying it!
Would I travel?
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes — I photograph weddings throughout the UK including London, Cambridge, Oxford, York, Liverpool, Nottingham, Essex, Rutland and surrounding areas.
Whether you're planning a relaxed countryside wedding, a modern city celebration, or an intimate destination-style wedding within the UK, I’m always happy to travel to document your day.
Do you need a second shooter?
A second shooter can be a great addition for larger weddings or days with multiple locations, helping to capture moments and angles that I may not be able to cover alone. They’re especially useful during key parts of the day, such as morning preparations, guest arrivals, and candid moments happening simultaneously.
A second photographer also means we can capture both wedding preparations, so you each have those special moments documented before the ceremony. Throughout the day, they help create a fuller story of your wedding with extra perspectives, reactions, and natural in-between moments.
Can I extend the session on the day?
Yes — if you decide you’d like extra coverage on your wedding day, I’m always happy to extend your photography coverage where possible. Whether your timeline runs later than planned, you’d like more evening coverage, or you want those final dance floor moments captured, I’ll always do my best to accommodate.
Just send me a message for details and availability.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I photograph weddings using professional Canon mirrorless cameras, including two Canon EOS R6, along with a variety of professional lenses suited to different lighting conditions and moments throughout the day.
Using high-quality professional equipment allows me to capture your wedding naturally and beautifully in everything from bright outdoor ceremonies to low-light evening receptions.
